Tomatoes Are Good For More Than Just Getting The Smell Of Skunk Off Yourself

Aside from their tremendous nutritional content, tomatoes provide you with additional protection from developing future cancers. Study after study shows that the licopene found in tomatoes, helps to reduce the risk of developing an extensive list of cancers including but not limited to breast, heart, and colon cancers.
As with almost all vegetables and fruits, you gain the most benefit from eating tomatoes in a raw form. So the next time you are searching for a mid afternoon snack, try slicing a big juicy tomato. And if you find your tastebuds fighting you on it, try dipping your tomato slices in a small amount of olive oil/pepper/garlic mixture.
